Ben had his checkup with the Dr. today. They did another IR scan of his head so we could see how he's progressing. This scan uses IR (harmless light) that reflects off a little cap to an IR receiver (sort of like the remote control on your TV on steroids). It them maps out the contours to show you an image of what the light hit. Here is a side by side of Ben's 1st can (7 weeks ago on the left) and today's (on the right). If you compare the two, you can see how much more flat we were 7 weeks ago. He's doing great! We'll be in the helmet for at least 2 more months, but he's showing great progress.

The computer takes the measurements and maps the circumference (as if you are behind Ben and looking straight down). The inner circle is "before" and the outer circle is "now". So you can see how much progress he's made in the back right.
Mom, Dad, Zach, & Ben all very excited! =)
